Residents of Seattle’s Broadmoor neighborhood show their Halloween spirit

For about 4 years now the residents of Broadmoor have held a competition to see who can best decorate the exterior of their home for Halloween. It’s apparent that many in the neighborhood have embraced this competition by what I have been seeing. I went around the neighborhood and snapped some photos of what residents have done. Montlake Fall Carnival Tomorrow

Calling all Capitol Hill, Broadmoor, Eastlake, and Madison Park parents; the Montlake neighborhood is throwing a Fall Carnival tomorrow in celebration of Halloween, fun for all ages!

There will be a haunted house and carnival full of various festive games for ages 5-12 beginning at 5pm at the Montlake Community Center. There will be booths giving away candy for trick-or-treaters, so come dressed to impress in your best costumes, for an evening of fun for everyone. Broadmoor Hosts NW Golf Media Association Award Banquet

Broadmoor Golf ClubOn Monday, the Broadmoor Golf Club hosted the Northwest Golf Media Association Award Banquet.  The Seattle event honored lontime golf columnist for the Vancouver (Canada) Sun newspaper, Arv Olson, as wells as golf course architect, John Harbottle III, and scholarship award winner, Pete Treperinas.  To read more about those recognized at the Broadmoor event, click the link to Cybergolf’s article.
