Exciting New Broadmoor Home

Broadmoor SeattleOver the last several years, Broadmoor has seen fantastic Seattle homes built.  One that many has seen going up is on the 1600 block of Broadmoor Drive East.  The home, designed by Stuart Silk Architects, will be a 2 story 8,000+ square foot home with a backyard that sits on the Broadmoor golf course.  The house replaces a 1948 home that was a little under 4,000 square feet.  The house sits on a large 17,000+ square feet lot with 150 feet along the Broadmoor fairway.

The home seems to be making great progress and I am looking forward to the finished product, even if it is just from the street.

Seattle Most Impressive Cherry Tree in Broadmoor?

Broadmoor Cherry TreeI do not know if it is or not, but I think the cherry tree on approximately the 1400 hundred block of Broadmoor Drive East may be the most impressive in Seattle.  I snapped this picture the other day and it does not really do it justice – for one I do not know if you can tell how big the tree is.  If you know of a better cherry tree in Seattle, let me know, I would like to see it.  Otherwise I am giving the title to Broadmoor.
